Here are some Travel Tips to start planning your next adventure!

It can be hard to know where to start when planning your trip. On this page, you’ll find a curated list of resources and useful travel tips to help you start planning your getaway.

AirTreks Trip Planner

There are a lot of useful travel related sites available that allow you to search numerous websites at once to find the best price. For international flights I like to use Expedia and also check individual airline sites. But I’ve always had good luck using AirTreks. I like that they compile a trip using the lowest cost carriers, especially when I have multiple destination in one trip. I’ve always thought their pricing to be competitive and the customer service has always been excellent. Of course your results may vary!

CDC Immunization

Need the latest updates on measles, yellow fever and the Zika virus? Think you might need an injection prior to leaving on your trip? Then check out the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Immunization website. Lots of great information here for both travelers and clinicians.

STEP

Provided by the US Department of State, The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling and living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

VisaHQ.com

Check here to see if your travel destination requires a visa. Note, this is not a governmental office. VisaHQ.com, Inc. is in the business to provide online visa services and U.S. passport solutions enabling travelers to apply online for visas to virtually any country in the world. If you have a related need, this site has plenty of resources.
